5 AGOSTO 1933 POSA DELLA PRIMA PIETRA DI SABAUDIA.
Dal 1932 al 1938 nascono cinque nuove città su questo territorio, a 40 chilometri a sud di Roma. La bonifica della palude (840 km2), fonte di malaria, era stata tentata svariate volte nella lunga storia d’Italia, ma mai portata a termine.
